Janelle is a New York based artist who has created artwork for Atmos, Rachel Antonoff, Moda Operandi, minnow swim, Sabah, Simon Miller, Warby Parker, Westerlind, and Books Are Magic. Previously, Janelle was the designer for the summer footwear brand Soludos.

Janelle is a classically trained painter who works in oil paint, watercolor, and digital media.

An early adopter of digital drawing, Janelle worked with Apple and Paper by 53 (Apple's 2012 App of the Year) to demonstrate the capabilities of digital drawing on iPadPro at New York’s Fashion Week, the Women’s Wear Daily Summit, and in Apple Stores.

Her work has been featured in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and Town and Country.

For a few clients a year, she creates custom artwork and stationery for special events, and was named one of Over the Moon’s favorite illustrators.

Janelle studied Visual Arts and Painting at Brown University and RISD, and at the Aegean Center for the Fine Arts in Paros, Greece. In 2018 she attended a painting residency at The Vesuvian Institute in Naples, Italy.
